The message MAX TEMP REACHED is short for the output circuit is no longer a closed circuit allowing for power to leave EDDI.
This, in turn, means, if your water is cold, the device you are powering from Eddi may have tripped.
A good test to do is to place Eddi into BYPASS (switch at the bottom to the right) and leave it an hour, if the water is still cold this is most likely the output device fault rather than Eddi's.
