V5 Firmware - Updating a zappi v2.0 – myenergi

These instructions apply to the zappi v2.0
(The zappi will have a serial number starting with a "1")

Select the menu "Other Settings / Device Settings - Download Firmware"
Zappi will download the latest firmware and then reboot.

NOTE- Some older firmware does not have the above setting, additional steps are required to complete the upgrade.

Select the menu "Other / Device Settings - Advanced - XXXX - System - Download Firmware

IMPORTANT

After the update is complete please check the following setting is correct:

On the "Charge Settings" menu
Select "ECO+ Settings"
Make the sure the "Stop Delay" is set to 30 seconds or more.

After the update this setting may be set to zero - this will cause zappi to display "Charge Delayed" or "Waiting for Surplus" when you try to charge your EV. Changing the setting to 30 seconds will resolve this issue.

Now update the firmware on your other myenergi devices

Select the device that you would like to update next

I have an eddi v1

(with a serial number starting with "1")

I have a zappi v2.0

(with a serial number starting with "2")

I have an eddi v2

(with built in WiFi and serial number starting with a "2")

I have a zappi v2.1

(with built in WiFi and a serial number starting with a "2")

I've updated all my devices
