Released 04/09/2024 - Previous version 5.542
Please Note
This firmware release only applies to the zappi v2 with built in Ethernet, Wi-Fi and "vHub". These zappis have a serial number starting with a "2" or higher.
It does not apply to previous versions of zappi without the built in Wi-Fi/Ethernet.
Improvements
- eSense "load curtailment" mode can now be set to a minimum of 6A instead of 7.2A. The Device Limit can al so be adjusted to as low as 6A to accompany this change.
- Devices will stop allocating power if a secondary device is reading the grid CT and becomes lost.
- Updated installer wizard for G100 : installer is now prompted to enter a passcode.
- New feature : G100 event fetching upon request.
- Commercial mode now supports AUD and EUR currencies, along with the parameter to change the currency symbol location.
- Some hardcoded screen text moved to string tables, in order to support translations.
- G100 status can be read in Information screen 1.
- Zappi2.1 Temperature throttling algorithm has been improved.
Bug Fixes
- "Charge" lock functionality override removed in normal zappi. Problem was that “Free_Vend” would override the value for “Charge” in both modes. 'normal' and 'commercial' modes. This is now changed to only work in Commercial mode.
- The system previously only checked the first 5 charging slots. It will now verify all 84 charging slots.
- Fixed formatting for "°C" main screen display (over temperature).
- Phase Switching timer cannot be skipped by changing the CP state to B while the charging mode hasn't locked in yet. When a charging mode is changed it will continue through the current 90s phase switching timer.
- Changing mode once "Preconditioning" was reached in FAST mode on a 3ph unit resulted in an invalid state when the phase switching 90s countdown was stuck at 2s, meaning that the charge couldn't resume.
- UnlockOnEVSideDisconnect disabled for non-commercial zappi mode.
- Adjusting the current or writing a new overriding charging slot will not put the zappi into a lock reduced state.
- Support for zappi as master when an eddi+ is part of the eco-system.
- When performing a system erase (config or factory erase), the device will no longer allow the system erase to take place unless the EV is disconnected (control pilot = A).
"Disconnect EV first" will be displayed and any press on TICK or ESCAPE will return to the previous screen. UP/DOWN buttons are disabled.
Additionally, the system has undergone several minor code enhancements and bug fixes to improve overall functionality and performance.
Important Notice
When updating to V5 firmware it is important that all zappis and eddis are also updated to V5 so that they can continue to work together.
