At myenergi, we take customer satisfaction seriously, and we strive to resolve any issues you encounter with our products. Recently, we’ve identified a connectivity challenge with the harvi device that may impact its performance and data accuracy. This article outlines the steps you can take to improve connectivity and reliability.
Understanding the Issue
The connectivity challenges you may be facing could cause intermittent communication between your harvi device and the system. When this occurs, it affects the reliability of the data being reported, potentially leading to inaccurate readings. To resolve this, we recommend evaluating the device’s proximity to its connection point and reducing potential signal interference.
Improving Connectivity
For optimal performance, the harvi device should be placed within a 20-25 metre range of line of sight from the device it's connecting to, whether that's the zappi or eddi. Bear in mind that obstacles such as walls can reduce the signal strength, much like how a mobile phone or Wi-Fi signal weakens with obstructions. The more barriers the signal passes through, the weaker the connection becomes. Therefore, repositioning the harvi to reduce interference can significantly improve the stability of its connection and the accuracy of its readings.
Regulatory Notifications
Due to recent regulatory changes, users with a zappi may receive notifications alerting them to potential discrepancies in readings or communication loss. These regulations require us to inform customers when data accuracy is compromised. In such cases, the zappi may temporarily halt its operation until the harvi reconnects or manual adjustments are made.
Steps to Repair Your harvi Device
If you continue to experience connectivity issues after attempting to improve the signal, you may need to repair the harvi device. Follow the steps outlined below:
