Released 07/11/2024 - Previous version 5.551
Please note this firmware release only applies to the zappi v2 with built-in Ethernet, WiFi and "vHub". These zappis have a serial number starting with a "2" or higher
It does not apply to previous versions of zappi without the built-in WiFi/Ethernet.
New Features
3-Phase zappi installed on a single-phase supply only can now use :
- CT1 as a 1ph bidirectional load
- CT2 as a 1ph unidirectional load such as Storage (Heater)/Generation
- CT3 as a 1ph bidirectional load
Note that CT2 can only be set to 'None', 'Generation Only', 'Storage Only' or 'Heat Pump'.
CT2 power readings are calculated from assumed PF = 1.0 and can thus only be unidirectional.
CT3 power readings are based on dynamic metering IC channel (CT1/3) swapping. CT3 readings are taken from the metering IC by swapping the CT1 current channel dynamically.
Improvements
- Status Compactor, significantly reduces the volume of data exchange to the cloud.
- Improved Commercial Screen for 'Waiting for Surplus'. Waiting for surplus screen added for commercial mode.
Bug Fixes
- Not stopping a charge in ECO mode when the power limit is exceeded Zappi will now stop when limited below their hard minimum (6A per phase) by a power limit. Fixed incorrect interaction between equal priority devices when being power-limited. Fixed over-limiting of a device that is being limited by both a power limit and an import/group limit. Fixed an issue where group “OFF” was still considered a group, causing over-limiting on 3ph systems.
- Master Lost - Zappi was periodically attempting to re-start a charge. Master Lost trigger timeout behaviour improved to prevent restarting a charge while the master device is considered lost.
- Drain libbi not working on non-ph1 phase. Fixed bug where libbi would not discharge to myenergi devices on a different phase when libbi was not on phase 1.
Additionally, the system has undergone several minor code enhancements and bug fixes to improve overall functionality and performance.
Important - when updating to V5 firmware it is important that all zappis and eddis are also updated to V5 so that they can continue to work together.
