Updating the firmware on the hub
To make sure you have the latest firmware on your hub
-
Unplug the power to the hub
-
Press and hold the download button
-
Plug the power back in again while continuing to hold the download button
-
Keep holding the button down until power light will turn yellow, then release the download button
-
The power light should now change to green and the “server” LED should now turn white for up to a minute (although this may take a lot longer if the server is heavily loaded – please be patient).
When the firmware on the hub as been updated the server light will return to blue or green.
How do I know what firmware I have on my hub?
There's no need to check what firmware you have on your hub - simply follow the instructions above and your hub will be updated.
However, if you want to check what firmware you have you can check in the myenergi app
What is the latest firmware version?
This depends on the version of the hub that you have. The hubs may look the same and they work almost exactly the same way.
The latest firmware versions for all myenegri products are listed --> here <--

For a product designed in the 21st century - why do i need to take so very many actions just to update the Firmware? Surely it either happens automatically or through the App. Does the Electronic Communications Regulations (2022) which are due to come in not bother yourselves?
It’s a piece of junk that’s never worked!
It’s a torture trying to connect hub to zappi and download or connect with this my energi products . So stupidity designed. Why ?????
I should add here that after advice from Dr. Chris Horne who responded to my frustrated comment above that my software has now been working faultlessly for four months.
Thank you.
Just to balance the comments here. My hub has worked faultlessly from day one for ~2.5 years. Including many FW updates whilst helping with the beta testing process. Never misses a beat. It’s clearly not junk! Peter.
