First make sure you have updated the hub's firmware
Then make sure that the latest firmware images for the eddi are downloaded to your hub

Briefly press the download button. When the button is released the “server” LED turns white and the “power” LED will remain green.

The “server” LED will remain white while the new images are downloading

Once the download is complete the server light will turn blue or green again (please note that this could take up to an hour to complete)
If the “power” LED is white then the hub is in diagnostic mode. Press the download button again to return the hub to normal operation
Updating the firmware on your eddi
- Press the down arrow so that the screen shows the Main Menu
- Use the down arrow and the right hand “tick” button to select the menu “Other Settings… ” (the bottom menu item, not Charge Settings) and then “Advanced…”
- Enter the passcode (default is 0 0 0 0)
- Select “System…”
- Select “Download Firmware…”
- Turn eddi off
- Press and hold the tick button
- Now turn the eddi back on again keeping the tick button pressed.
- Screen will show “Release Button” – Now release the tick button
- Select “Download Latest F/W”
Troubleshooting...
Display freezes on "Download Latest FW"
This may mean that eddi thinks it has a wired Ethernet connection.
To check this you need to access the Bootloader menu:
- Turn eddi off
- Press and hold the tick button
- Now turn the eddi back on again keeping the tick button pressed.
- Screen will show “Release Button” – Now release the tick button
No scroll down off the bottom of the screen and make sure Ethernet is OFF
Now select the Download Latest F/W... option
How do I check the eddi firmware version?
The firmware version is show on the Information menu
