Update for all myenergi installers and distributors
The Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021 come into effect on 30th June 2022.
These apply to any EV Charge Points that are sold in England, Scotland and Wales from 30th June 2022 and introduce a number of changes in the way that the EV charger operates, the most obvious being a random delay of up to ten minutes at the start of each charge session.
All myenergi zappi’s that were manufactured after 24th May 2022 comply fully with these Regulations. These zappi’s have firmware version 4.122 or above and are clearly identified with a sticker on the packaging (next to the product label on the end of the zappi box).
If you still hold any zappi’s that are not compliant then we will arrange for these to be updated and returned to you.
Please note - this only applies to the latest version of the zappi identified by the letter "H" in the product code eg ZAPPI-2H07TW"
To arrange for any zappis to be updated please complete this online form https://forms.microsoft.com/r/2nKeaaSRHm and we will be in touch within two working days to arrange for these chargers to be collected and updated.
