Built-In Relays

eddi+ comes equipped with two built-in 16Amp relays and a 24/230V eSense connection, making it the most versatile model in the eddi lineup. These relays can be configured during installation using preset settings or programmed manually for custom applications.

Two Multifunctional Relay Connections

 

  • Preset Configuration: During commissioning, the relays can be set automatically using one of the preset options.
  • Manual Control: Installers can manually configure the relays to activate based on the following criteria:
    • Following the output
    • Set levels of import/export surplus
    • Timed operation via a schedule
    • Fault signal

eSense Connection

The eSense connection is typically used for integrating with heat pumps, especially as a backup heater (immersion heater) or for dual-tariff electricity meters requiring a hard connection to the switched supply. When connected to a supply, eSense can:

  • Activate a schedule on eddi+
  • Initiate a boost

PT1000 Temperature Sensor Connections

Each eddi+ device is equipped with two PT1000 temperature sensor connections. These sensors monitor the temperature of two separate tanks or the top and bottom of a single tank. The monitored temperatures can be viewed via the eddi+ display and remotely through the myenergi App. eddi+ is supplied with one PT1000 sensor.
