The myenergi ecosystem is designed to provide seamless integration between your devices, ensuring efficient energy management for your home.
However, it is important to understand the device limitations to optimise your setup.
Device Limitations
The myenergi ecosystem supports a maximum of six devices per system. This includes any combination of zappi, eddi, libbi, and harvi units. This limitation is in place to ensure optimal communication and system performance.
If you attempt to add a seventh device, it will not be recognised by the system, and you will need to remove an existing device before adding a new one.
vhub as a Device
If you are using a vhub, it is important to note that the vhub itself counts as one of the six devices within your system. This means that if you have a vhub connected, you will only be able to add up to five additional myenergi devices.
For example:
-
If you have one vhub, you can connect up to five other devices (e.g., a combination of zappi, eddi, libbi, and harvi).
-
Without a vhub, you can connect the full six devices.
Why Does vhub Count as a Device?
The vhub acts as a central communication hub, managing data transmission between your myenergi devices and the myenergi cloud. As it plays an active role in the system, it occupies one of the available device slots.
Planning Your System
Before setting up your myenergi ecosystem, consider how many devices you need and whether a vhub is required. If you already have six devices and need a vhub, you may need to remove one existing device to maintain compatibility.
