What OCPP messages does zappi support?

Introduction

With the introduction of V5.114 firmware for zappi with built-in Wi-Fi, (serial numbers starting with a 2) zappi will support the use of Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) 1.6J.

OCPP has been developed based on the demands of our customers and partners. In order for us to deliver value as quickly as possible, we released OCPP in phases starting in July 2023 and is now fully released for the applicable devices. This may mean some features may be missing or have limitations. We’ll regularly update this page with new revisions of our firmware.

zappi does not use the OCPP protocol directly. The myenergi protocol is different to OCPP. Therefore we offer a cloud-to-cloud OCPP service, meaning OCPP commands are sent to/from myenergi servers to the third party you choose and translated to/from myenergi protocols.

In practice, the myenergi OCPP service works just like any other OCPP charger. At present we support the following commands of OCPP 1.6J CORE messaging specification.
