Improvements

  • Modified the battery's charge logic when it is empty and idle in an attempt to prevent the SoC dropping to unsafe values due to BMS self-consumption of charge.

  • Modified inverter communications such that they cannot progress past initialisation until the inverter's DSP chip had completed its bootup.

  • Improved libbi’s handling of minute data to prevent duplicate messages, particularly after a controller reboot.

  • [Inverter FW] Removed timed charge logic where the battery would briefly charge from grid every 3 days if the battery SoC was below 50%.One Click Inverter Firmware Updates

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where the same DSP could be reinstalled after a BMS install.

  • Fixed a bug where the system could falsely start up with older power control configuration when latest inverter firmware was installed.

  • Fixed a bug where the start of a schedule could interrupt SoC recovery, causing the system to become stuck in the "Battery Under Capacity" state. Also adjusted the trigger conditions for SoC recovery to prevent issues when the controller is rebooted during the process.

  • Fixed a bug where updating inverter firmware from current versions to future versions would result in the wrong image being installed first.

  • [Inverter FW] Fixed a bug in the internal RTC module which caused inverter startup to fail on the last day of a leap year.

  • [Inverter FW] Fixed an issue where some battery packs would not reach 100% SoC during calibration.

Provided your libbi is connected to the internet the firmware will download automatically over the week following the firmware release. Once downloaded you can complete the installation at the libbi controller.

Alternatively you can complete the firmware installation from the libbi local controls. Please see our article on Updating libbi v1.
