Important libbi update – Single Occurance Bug Fix

Your libbi may be affected by a known firmware bug if it is running an older inverter firmware version. Once after roughly a year the unit could temporarily power down for 24 hours.

Good to know

This issue does not damage libbi. It is temporary, but it causes disruption if it happens.

Important

During the firmware update, the backup circuit will also power off. If your home relies on this backup supply, plan your update for a time when this will not cause disruption.

How to prevent this

Update your libbi to the latest firmware versions. This resolves the issue permanently:

  • CONTROLLER 5.445
  • ARM 2700
  • DSP 3000
  • BMS 11259

Check your current versions and apply updates to the controller first, then the inverter.

  1. Open Main Menu › Device Settings › Installer Settings › ENTER PASSCODE (0000 Default) › System > Update Inverter › Read Advisors, Press + to continue › Press + To confirm Standard Install.
  2. Wait for the process to complete and confirm success before exiting.

Important

If you do not update, libbi may switch off for up to 24 hours on its anniversary date.
