Code 154 / W03: Grid Frequency High

If your libbi displays Code 154 / W03: Grid Frequency High, this indicates that the voltage supplied to the libbi inverter is outside of the normal operating window.

What does this mean?

The inverter relies on a stable grid voltage to operate correctly. When the voltage falls outside of the normal operating window, the system automatically detects this and displays the “Code 154 / W03: Grid Frequency High” warning to protect itself and maintain safe operation. Your inverter is designed to shut down or limit operation temporarily if the voltage goes outside safe limits.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check your Consumer Unit (Fuse Box)
    • Locate the Consumer Unit (Fuse Box) which powers the libbi
    • Ensure that all switches are in the On/Up position.
    • If switched Off/Down, switch back to the On/Up position.

  2. Check the AC Isolator
    • Ensure the AC Isolator is switched On.
    • If switched off, switched back On.

  3. Reboot the libbi Controller

  4. Monitor the system for any other errors.
