If your libbi displays Code 172 / W21: BMS Under Volt, this indicates that the Battery Management System (BMS) has detected the battery is undervoltage.
What does this mean?
The BMS continuously monitors battery voltage to protect the battery pack. When the voltage falls too low, it triggers Code 172 / W21: BMS Under Volt to prevent:
- Permanent damage to the battery cells
- Reduced battery lifespan
- Unsafe operation of the libbi inverter
During this condition, the libbi may limit or stop battery discharge to safeguard the battery until the voltage returns to a safe level.
