Getting your app working after an warranty replacement

After an RMA, your old eco system stays stored in the app. You need to remove it before you register the replacement units.

Why you need to do this

The app links your account to one eco system. If the old one remains, the new equipment will not load or show the correct data.

Steps to reset the app link

Follow the steps below to remove the old eco system, then register the new one.

  • Open the myenergi app and sign in.
  • Tap the menu icon in the top left.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Settings.
  • Select Forget this eco system.
  • Return to the main screen and register the new eco system through the on-screen steps.

Important

Forgetting the eco system only removes it from the app on your device. It does not affect the equipment or your home network.

If your master or primary device was not replaced

Some warrant claims replace only one device. If the master, also known as the primary device, stayed the same, the app might block registration of the new eco system.

What you should do

Contact myenergi support. We will update your account so the replacement devices link correctly.

Information support will need

  • Your account email address.
  • The serial number of the replacement unit.
  • Confirmation that the master device did not change.

Once we update the account, you will be able to register the eco system again in the app.
