Overview
There is a feature in the app commonly referred to as "Location Sharing". This enables the owner of an account to share the app with someone else so they can also control the myenergi devices attached to that account as well.
The owner will already have an account and will have devices attached to that account.
Warning: Anyone else who wants to share control of a location will also need to sign up for an account before the owner can then share their location
To share your location/hub with someone else so they can also see it on their phone using the myenergi app you need to do the following:
- The person you want to share with needs to have a myenergi account to access the location. If they don't already have a myenergi account then they should register first.
- Share the location from the myenergi app
- The other person needs to:
- open the myenergi app and log in with their account
- they will have a message in the app to let them know that you have shared your location with them
