How does libbi work with Octopus' Agile Tariff?

Octopus Agile Tariff

If you are on the Octopus Agile tariff then the overnight charge period(s) are chosen to match the lowest rate period(s) provided by Octopus the previous afternoon (4pm).

As the cut off point is 4pm, if you were to set the Octopus Agile tariff after this, it may not kick in and choose the cheapest price period until the following evening.

i.e if you input your Octopus Agile Tariff into the app on Monday 1st at 5pm, you may not benefit from libbi choosing the cheapest overnight pricing periods until the evening of Wednesday 3rd.

At the moment there is no option to choose to charge when the Agile price drops below a certain threshold. Our initial assumption for the libbi launch is that very low price periods during the day will coincide with the times when you have peak solar generation so, capturing the local green electrons should take priority.

There is also no option, currently, for libbi to export from the battery when dynamic export tariffs are high.
