Overview
We have seen an increase in customers incorrectly interpreting the boost menu on zappi. Until a redesign is complete to remove this confusion please see this article that will aid in clearing any confusion up.
Default View
Within the myenergi app, if you tap into the boost section, you will see it defaults you to a "Manual" timer. This will occur regardless if you have a timer set within another section or not.
The boost timer will still carry out as you have commanded zappi to do so.
How do I know if a timer is already set?
To tell if you have a fixed period scheduled timer set, you will see from the app a Clock icon appearing next to Scheduled.
When the Clock icon shows, you can have a smart boost or a manual boost also set, but if the vehicle is not charging at the start of the fixed period scheduled timer it will then deliver a charge to your vehicle in line with what you have set.
What to do about it?
If you want to use a different boost timer than your fixed period scheduled timer (Timed Boost), you will need to turn off the boost timer, to do this see our article on boost timers -> zappi - How to set up a Timed Charge / Cheap Rate Charge
