How to Opt Permanently Out of Grid Protection

If you decide not to participate in Grid Protection events with myenergi, you can easily opt out through the myaccount portal. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to adjust your preferences and stop participating in Grid Protection events.

Step-by-Step Guide

Accessing myaccount

Open your web browser and navigate to myaccount.myenergi.com.
Log in using your myenergi account credentials. These are the same details you use to access the myenergi app.

Navigating to Account Preferences

Once logged in, locate and click on the Account section in the navigation menu.
From the Account section, select Preferences. This is where you can manage your account settings and participation in various programs.

Opting Out of Demand Side Response

In the Preferences section, find the Grid Protection option.
Click on Edit Details. This will allow you to make changes to your Grid Protection participation status.
Locate the toggle switch next to the Grid Protection option and switch it to the "Off" position to opt out.

Confirmation

Once you have toggled the switch, your changes will be saved automatically.

NOTE: By opting out, you will not participate in any future Grid Protection events organised by myenergi. This means your devices will not automatically adjust their energy consumption based on grid demands.
