When you switch your Wi-Fi provider or replace your router, your myenergi product will no longer be connected to the internet.
This is because the device does not automatically update to the new router's settings, including the password. Similar to how you would reconnect your mobile phone to the new Wi-Fi network, you will need to manually reset and reconnect your myenergi device.
Why Is Reconnection Needed?
Wi-Fi credentials such as the network name (SSID) and password are unique to each router. When your router changes, the old credentials stored in your myenergi device no longer match the new network, preventing it from connecting.

Helpful Reminder
This process is similar to reconnecting any smart device to a new Wi-Fi network. If you would not expect your mobile phone to connect automatically to a new router, you should not expect your myenergi product to either.
By reconnecting your myenergi product, you can continue to enjoy its full functionality and stay connected to your energy management system.
