Setting Up the myenergi App for GLO

Once you have registered your myenergi account, the next step is to set up your location and configure your energy tariff within the app. This allows GLO and any other myenergi products to report accurately and function as intended. Follow the steps below to complete the setup process.

If the zappi GLO has been installed as a secondary (slave) device to a pre-existing ecosystem, you do not need to do any of the below steps, and the zappi GLO will automatically appear on your existing account.

Step-by-step Instructions

  • Open the myenergi Customer App and sign in with your registered account.
  • Select the option to add a new location.

  • Give your location a name. This can be any friendly name—such as 'Home' or 'New Build'—to help you identify it, especially if you manage more than one location in the app.
  • Enter the address for this location or use your device’s current location feature.

  • Enter your electricity tariff details when prompted.
  • Confirm your tariff details.

If you are asked to manually enter tariff price points, follow the on-screen tutorial for assistance.

Connecting GLO to Your Location

Once your location and tariff details are set, you can begin adding devices to this location.

If your installer has recently fitted a GLO, or if you have moved into a property where a GLO is already installed (such as a new-build home), you will need to connect it to your Wi-Fi network before use. The following guide will help you complete this process using the myenergi customer app.

Step-by-step Instructions

  • Log into the myenergi Customer App using your registered email address and password.
  • Tap “Set up your ecosystem” from the app home screen.

Swipe across the device options until you locate GLO.

  • Tap on GLO and follow the on-screen instructions to start the connection process.

NOTE: If Wi-Fi has already been set up during installation, all you need is your serial number and registration code which is part of the handover email.

When prompted, a serial number will appear on your screen. You must confirm that this matches your GLO’s serial number.

The serial number can be found in the handover email provided by your installer. It is also printed on a silver sticker beneath the GLO’s sun shield.

If you are unsure how to remove the sun shield, please refer to the GLO sun shield removal guide.

  • Once confirmed, tap the correct serial number on screen to continue.

  • Enter the Bluetooth pairing code when prompted.

Bluetooth PIN

This PIN is included in the documentation that came with your GLO. If you do not have this documentation, please contact myenergi support for assistance.

  • After entering the Bluetooth code, tap the button to proceed to Wi-Fi setup.
  • Select your preferred Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.

Once connected, GLO will complete its setup process and be ready to use.
