zappi GLO Quick Start Guide

Your zappi GLO is ready to use right out of the box!

By default, it operates in Smart Mode, which follows a built-in charging schedule set for Monday to Friday, midnight to 8:00 AM. This schedule is designed to align with most low-cost night tariffs.

If you want to adjust or delete these schedules, download the myenergi customer app and access your zappi GLO product page.

During installation, one Access Key will be paired with your charger. If this wasn’t done, don’t worry— your GLO will automatically pair with the first card it detects.

You can manage your Access Key anytime through the myaccount portal, using the same login details as the app.

Using Your Access Key

Your Access Key (RFID) provides two main features:

  1. Authorise a charge if you’ve enabled 'Charging Lock' for extra security.
  2. Trigger an instant charge at full power when needed.

By default, Charging Lock is disabled to keep things simple. If you prefer added security or want to track charge sessions across multiple users, you can enable this in the app under 'Device Settings'.

You can pair additional Access Keys via the myaccount portal, which is useful for homes or light commercial setups. You can also assign names to each card, such as “Work EV” or “Personal EV”, to help track charging sessions.

Enjoying The Full GLO Experience

Your zappi GLO supports two charging methods:

  • Smart Mode On/Off: Smart Mode allows zappi to follow schedules, respond to dynamic tariffs, and use surplus solar energy when available. This helps reduce energy costs and grid demand. When turned off, zappi delivers full power immediately until your vehicle is fully charged, while still prioritising solar energy if available.
  • Charge Now: Ideal for when you need to top up straight away. Tap your Access Key or use the 'Charge Now' button in the customer app to begin an immediate full-power charge. Once complete, unplug your EV or tap the card again to stop charging. The unit will then resume Smart Mode automatically.
