Overview
To be able to update or use our app on our earlier devices (zapp V1/V2 and Eddi V1) you must use our legacy device called hub to do this. This article will go over how to pair an eddi and or a zappi with a hub. If you have a libbi, you must not use a physical hub as they do not support the libbi.
These instructions assume that the hub and zappi have not been paired before and they are on the default radio channel (1).
hub
On the hub briefly press the "Pair" button. The LED's should change colour:
All countries except Australia |
Australia (915MHz Radio) |
|
|
If the LEDs are not these colours then the hub is set on a different radio channel or may be on the wrong radio frequency.
If you find this is the case, you are often best to reset the hub and start fresh. -> How to reset hub
