You might need to open your harvi if it was closed before adding CT wires, or if you want to add more CTs later. The enclosure uses two side clips that secure the top cover.
Tool required
Use a hard plastic tool to release the clips. Avoid metal tools to prevent damage to the housing.
Opening the harvi
- Hold the harvi so both side clips are accessible.
- Insert the plastic tool into the gap on the left side clip.
- Press inward until the clip releases.
- Repeat the same action on the right side clip.
- Lift the top section once both clips have been depressed.
Take care
Do not force the lid. The clips release with controlled pressure. Excess force risks housing damage.
Removing the PCB
You do not need to remove the PCB for standard CT wiring. Remove it only if the board was installed in the wrong orientation.
- Locate the stand offs that secure the PCB.
- Push the stand offs gently to the side.
- Lift the PCB once the stand offs release.
- Keep the board flat and avoid strain on the terminals.
Tip
Removing the PCB gives more space, but it should not be needed for most installations.
Reassembly
- Press the PCB back into the stand offs if removed.
- Align the top cover with the side clips.
- Press down until both clips lock.
If the lid does not close smoothly, check the PCB alignment and cable routing before applying pressure.
