The Octopus Agile Tariff is a pricing plan designed to provide lower rates during off-peak periods. For those on this tariff, the overnight charging window will be determined based on the lowest rate periods published by Octopus at 4 p.m. the preceding day.
For instance, if you enter your Octopus Agile Tariff into the app on Monday 1st at 5 p.m., you may not benefit from libbi selecting the most economical overnight pricing periods until the evening of Wednesday 3rd.
Setup
To utilise the Agile Tariff, you must log into your Myenergi Myaccount. This allows you to specify your desired price points.
Upon logging into your Myaccount, ensure you complete any setup tasks indicated on the homepage. It is essential to provide details about your electric vehicle (EV) and the version of the Agile tariff you are using.
Navigate to the Account section in the bottom left corner and select Vehicles.
Input your EV information. If your vehicle is not listed, please select "Other" and manually enter the battery capacity.
After saving your EV details, you need to set your tariff if you have not done so already through our app. Refer to the guide: How do I set my energy tariff in the Myenergi app?
Click on Location, then Location Settings.
On the subsequent page, click Edit Details and select your version of Agile.
Now that your EV and tariff are configured, the final step is to establish your price points:
Click on Schedules, followed by Budget Charge Edit Price Limit.
Specify the maximum amount you are willing to pay per kWh and the times when your EV is likely to be connected. By default, it assumes a 24/7 possibility of being plugged in.
Once saved, zappi will automatically set its boost timer for the next 24 hours around 4:20 p.m. each day in preparation for the lower rates.
To view your boost points, you can access this information via the tariff screen in your Myaccount.
As long as your EV is plugged in, operating in ECO+ mode, and ready for boosts, you will see charging occur in accordance with your specified price points.
