In this article:
The warning Pilot Problem is shown when zappi has detected an issue with the “Control Pilot” signal on the cable between the and the EV.
When plugged in, you may find the warning shows straight away or it may only be when you plug in / move the charge lead.
To test whether this is a zappi failure of the charge lead, try taking the car and charging the lead to another AC charge point like a zappi and plug it in.
If the vehicle does not charge, this confirms the fault is with your charge lead and that will need to be looked at in more detail with your cable manufacturer.
If the vehicle does charge, please contact myenergi technical support for further assistance.
Once plugged into your vehicle, move the charge lead up and down to see if there is a point at the EV starts to charge, If it does not at any stage, try taking the car to another charge point like a zappi (AC Charge Point) and plug it in.
If you find you cannot charge this would point to an issue with the charge socket on your vehicle, in this instance, you will need to consult the manufacturer of the vehicle or the dealer that has sold the vehicle depending on your consumer rights etc.,
If you find when you plug in elsewhere it charges, contact myenergi technical support for further assistance,
